📚 Developer Reading List

Over the years as a engineer i have read a lot of books related to software development, architecture and what I would call the soft values regarding the delivering quality software. My thoughts on the books are my own and you should take them with a grain of salt... as with anything strangers say on the internet.

There are also a few books that people have recommended to me that I haven't gotten around to reading yet.

Craftmanship and Quality

These books focus on writing clean, maintainable code and the principles of software craftsmanship. As with most things I dont belive that there is a single right way to do things, but these books provide solid guidelines and thoughts that can be reflected upon.

Software Design & Architecture

Books focused on system design, scalability, domain modeling, and architectural patterns.

Teamwork, Leadership & Professional Growth

Books about communication, collaboration, and building effective teams.

DevOps, Process & Flow

Books that explore how work moves through an organization and how to optimize delivery.

Strategy, Metrics & Continuous Improvement

Books focused on measurement, objectives, and aligning teams toward business outcomes.
